HUNGARIAN State Railways (MÁV) has set out its investment plans for 2012-2015, after finalising its network management contract for the period with the government.

GYÖR-Sopron-Ebenfurth Railway (GySEV) has awarded Stadler a €20m contract to supply four four-car Flirt regional emus.

A JOINT venture of Ganz, Hungary, and Škoda Transportation has been selected as preferred supplier for a contract to supply 31 low-floor LRVs to Miskolc in a deal worth around $US 104m, which includes an option for a further 10 vehicles worth $US 9.17m.
