Auckland City Rail Link major works contract signed
AUCKLAND City Rail Link (CRL) developer City Rail Link Ltd has signed a project alliance agreement (PAA) with the Link Alliance, enabling work to begin on two new underground stations, upgrading the existing Mt Eden station, and completing tunnel construction.

Rising freight traffic narrows KiwiRail loss
NEW Zealand national operator KiwiRail posted a net loss of $NZ 104.6m ($US 71.8m) in the second half of 2018, down from $NZ 193m the previous year on the back of a 12% increase in revenue and a strong growth in freight.
