Abellio refused three-year extension to ScotRail franchise
ABELLIO's ScotRail contract is to be terminated in 2022 and it will not be granted a three year extension, Scottish transport secretary, Mr Michael Matheson, confirmed on December 18.

Talgo signs framework agreement for new Scottish factory
SPANISH train manufacturer Talgo, business support and funding agency Scottish Enterprise and Transport Scotland signed a joint framework agreement on October 30 to establish a train manufacturing base in Longannet, Fife, for Talgo UK.
